DUCATI PANIGALE V4 TRICOLORE ITALIA, 2025

On the occasion of the launch of the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia, Andrea Crespi reinterprets Ducati’s iconic superbike, transforming it into a contemporary artwork that celebrates human ingenuity, the aesthetics of movement, and Italian cultural identity.
The artistic project unfolds in a dual expression: a unique 1:1 scale piece and a limited edition of 163 pairs, mirroring the exact number of motorcycles produced.
Through a visual interplay of white and blue lines, Crespi blends the precision of graphic design with the emotional impact of color, using a shade of blue inspired by the livery of the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia. This chromatic choice recalls the national racing tradition and Ducati’s international success, highlighted by its first and second place finishes at the 2024 Mugello Grand Prix.
The result is a motorcycle that becomes a metaphor for Italian identity—not only through its origin, but through what it represents: style, speed, beauty, and innovation.
In an era where the line between object and symbol is increasingly blurred, this Panigale becomes a dynamic sculpture: not just a vehicle, but a visual manifesto of Italian excellence. Art, like the motorcycle, becomes an expression of freedom and forward momentum, both born from the same source: human creativity.
Andrea Crespi’s work officially becomes part of the corporate collection of Borgo Panigale, supported by Fondazione Ducati, and is the centerpiece of a temporary exhibition at the Ducati Museum.
