Poetry and Artificial Beauty esplora il confine tra fisico e digitale, unendo poesia e arte sui temi della tecnologia contemporanea.

Ana Maria Caballero presenta in anteprima l’edizione italiana del suo primo libro di poesia “Tra domenica e domenica” all’interno della mostra Artificial Beauty di Andrea Crespi alla Fabbrica del Vapore.

La serata indaga il dialogo tra materia e linguaggio, attraverso le opere di Andrea Crespi e la poesia di Ana Maria Caballero: un viaggio cross-mediale tra tecnologia artificiale e sensibilità umana. In questo contesto, l’interdisciplinarità non è una scelta estetica, ma una necessità per interpretare il presente.

Nel piazzale della Fabbrica del Vapore saranno esposte per la serata opere digitali selezionate di Andrea Crespi e Ana Maria Caballero, che ripercorrono il tema condiviso della Bellezza Artificiale. In entrambi i linguaggi, il digitale si configura come ambiente culturale capace di ridefinire la percezione del corpo, dell’identità e della natura.

Poesia e arte visiva diventano così dispositivi di indagine: esplorano l’intimità del dato, l’estetica dell’algoritmo e la fragilità dell’umano in un’epoca di trasformazione continua. La presentazione e conferenza delineano un territorio ibrido in cui il confine tra parola, immagine e codice si dissolve, aprendo nuove possibilità di senso e di immaginazione.

La conferenza è gratuita e si terrà in lingua inglese.

Poetry and Artificial Beauty explores the boundary between the physical and the digital, bringing together poetry and art to reflect on themes of contemporary technology.

Ana Maria Caballero presents a preview of the Italian edition of her first poetry book "Tra domenica e domenica" within the exhibition Artificial Beauty by Andrea Crespi at Fabbrica del Vapore.

The evening investigates the dialogue between matter and language through the works of Andrea Crespi and the poetry of Ana Maria Caballero: a cross-media journey between artificial technology and human sensibility. In this context, interdisciplinarity is not an aesthetic choice, but a necessity for interpreting the present.

In the courtyard of Fabbrica del Vapore, a selection of digital works by Andrea Crespi and Ana Maria Caballero will be exhibited for the evening, retracing the shared theme of Artificial Beauty. In both languages, the digital emerges as a cultural environment capable of redefining the perception of the body, identity, and nature.

Poetry and visual art thus become tools of investigation: they explore the intimacy of data, the aesthetics of the algorithm, and the fragility of the human in an era of continuous transformation. The presentation and conference outline a hybrid territory in which the boundaries between word, image, and code dissolve, opening up new possibilities for meaning and imagination.

The conference is free of charge and will be held in English.

ANA MARÍA CABALLERO

è un’artista transdisciplinare pluripremiata. Il suo lavoro esplora il rapporto tra corpo, identità, biologia ed ecologia. È la prima poetessa vivente ad aver venduto una poesia da Sotheby’s e ha ricevuto numerosi premi internazionali. Le sue opere sono state presentate da importanti testate, esposte in sedi come Art Basel e la Biennale di Venezia e fanno parte di collezioni museali di rilievo. Laureata ad Harvard, è autrice di otto libri e cofondatrice della galleria digitale di poesia theVERSEverse.


ANDREA CRESPI

è un artista italiano che lavora tra fisico e digitale, esplorando temi come l’illusione ottica, la trasformazione sociale e la rivoluzione digitale. La sua ricerca considera l’arte come strumento di analisi del presente e di indagine della verità. Attivo tra Milano e Miami, è considerato uno degli artisti italiani più influenti della sua generazione. Le sue opere sono state esposte in importanti istituzioni e contesti internazionali, tra cui la Triennale di Milano, Times Square e Art Dubai.


GRAZIANO MAZZA

è un poeta, traduttore, artista visivo e direttore della collana di poesia internazionale Fatto Umano. Inoltre è ricercatore in teologia economica all’Università di Paris Nanterre, tra Francia e Italia.

ANA MARÍA CABALLERO

is an award-winning transdisciplinary artist. Her work explores the relationship between body, identity, biology, and ecology. She is the first living poet to have sold a poem at Sotheby’s and has received numerous international awards. Her works have been featured by major media outlets, exhibited at venues such as Art Basel and the Venice Biennale, and are part of important museum collections. A Harvard graduate, she is the author of eight books and the co-founder of the digital poetry gallery theVERSEverse.


ANDREA CRESPI

is an Italian artist working between the physical and the digital, exploring themes such as optical illusion, social transformation, and the digital revolution. His research views art as a tool for analyzing the present and investigating truth. Active between Milan and Miami, he is considered one of the most influential Italian artists of his generation. His works have been exhibited in major international institutions and contexts, including the Triennale di Milano, Times Square, and Art Dubai.


GRAZIANO MAZZA

is a poet, translator, visual artist, and the editor of the international poetry series Fatto Umano. He is also a researcher in economic theology at the University of Paris Nanterre, working between France and Italy.
